Introducing Aghamore NS’s First Student Council

Aghamore N.S. proudly formed its first ever Student Council this week. The council is made up of pupils from First to Sixth Class, with members including Aoife Scahill, Donnacha Lyons, Hannah Scahill, Iarlaith Morris, Orlaith Burke, Senan Kelly, Saoirse Kenny, Kai Glavey, Gemma Cunnane, Cole Burke Masterson and Mia Byrne.

The Student Council will meet regularly to discuss issues important to the student body and to develop ideas to help make our school an even better place. Council members will gather the views of their classmates and bring these to meetings, as well as providing feedback to their classes afterwards. Staff will also seek the council’s input on decision-making and policy development.

We look forward to listening to the students’ ideas and ensuring their voices are heard through the Student Council.
