The Student Council has decided to hold an ‘Anything But A Schoolbag Day’ on Friday, 19th June 2026 in Aghamore N.S. to raise money for Daisy Lodge. On this day, children are asked to bring their books and lunch to school in anything but their schoolbag!
Pupils are encouraged to be as creative as possible, with some possible alternatives including a pillowcase, shopping bag, laundry basket, suitcase or even a box. Everyone is asked to take part and support this very worthy cause by bringing a €2 donation on the day.
The children from 3rd to 6th Class travelled to Petersburg Outdoor Education Centre in Clonbur for their school tour. It was a fantastic day filled with adventure, fun and teamwork. Pupils enjoyed a range of exciting activities, including a boat ride, a fun-filled obstacle course, paddleboarding and kayaking.
The children embraced every challenge, making wonderful memories along the way. A thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all!
The 6th Class Graduation will take place in the G.P. Room on Tuesday, 23rd June at 1pm. Fr Jerald will celebrate Mass with the whole school, followed by the Graduation Ceremony and refreshments.
It promises to be a very special occasion as we celebrate the achievements of our 6th Class pupils and mark the end of their primary school journey. We look forward to welcoming the families of our 6th Class pupils to share in this important milestone.
