Our annual Sports Day took place on Monday, 15th June, and we were delighted to be blessed with lovely weather for the occasion.
Sports Day is always one of the highlights of the school year, giving our pupils a wonderful opportunity to enjoy fun, friendship and a little healthy competition together. It was a fantastic day filled with smiles, laughter and plenty of enthusiastic participation. Everyone got involved and enjoyed the fun, making lots of happy memories along the way. The day was made even more special with a surprise visit from the ice-cream van!

Our 3rd and 4th Class pupils had a great afternoon of chess with pupils from Kinaffe N.S. It was wonderful to welcome pupils from another school and enjoy a fun-filled mini Chess Tournament together. Of course, we also enjoyed a few treats along the way!
Thank you to Ms Maloney and Mr Fran Glynn From Kinaffe N.S. for organising the event, and also to Ms Kate Cunningham and the pupils of Kinaffe N.S. for travelling to join us on the day. We look forward to many more chess games in the future!
Aghamore N.S. celebrated a fantastic victory in the Cumann na mBunscol Division 2 Hurling County Final at McHale Park, Castlebar on Monday, 8th June. Playing Knock N.S., the Aghamore boys and girls showed great skill, teamwork and determination throughout the game,emerging worthy champions on a commanding scoreline of 5-5 to 1-1.
It was a proud day for the players, coaches, school and supporters as they claimed county honours after a memorable performance. Well done to all!
