Bí Cineálta is the new framework designed to prevent and address bullying behaviour and is to be implemented in all schools. Pupils from every class in Aghamore N.S. were involved in creating a child-friendly version of our Bí Cineálta Policy.
They have been actively engaged in writing about kindness, identifying what bullying behaviour looks like, and learning how it should be addressed. Many children also created beautiful drawings that reflect kindness, friendship, and the importance of knowing how to respond to bullying behaviour.
All of their artwork and writing, along with the child-friendly version of the policy, are displayed in the school corridor. We hope you have the opportunity to view these beautiful displays when you visit the school.

Well done to all the boys and girls from 3rd to 6th Class who took part in the East Mayo Primary Schools Cross Country Competition in Swinford today. They all gave their very best and showed great determination as they ran their races.
A special congrats to Senan Kelly and Liam Murphy from 4th Class, who came 10th and 11th out of 105 competitors in their race. They have now qualified to compete in the Mayo Primary Schools Cross Country Competition in Ballina. We wish them the very best of luck!
Today we got the opportunity to celebrate the incredible dedication, compassion, and commitment that our Special Needs Assistants bring to our school and classrooms each and every day. We are very lucky at Aghamore NS to have such an outstanding team of SNAs - Madeleine, Cathy and Jodie, who consistently go above and beyond in caring and supporting our students and teachers.
We also took the opportunity to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our wonderful secretary, Caroline, whose hard work and dedication ensure the smooth and efficient running of our school.
